SMASH that Like Button for Masahiro Sakurai!

Any fans of the Super Smash Bros series know who Masahiro Sakurai is. The legendary game developer is known as the creator of the Kirby and Super Smash Bros series and has also worked on Meteos and Kid Icarus: Uprising. He has also been Nintendo’s premier Super Smash Bros presenter for years.

Now, he has created a YouTube channel “Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games” where he goes into topics like game development and what types of things make games fun. He has 2 sets of his videos: one in Japanese and one in English. He isn’t currently looking to include ads in his videos, which is a nice plus and Nintendo isn’t directly involved in his videos, but he is running them all by Nintendo as to not run afoul of the big game company.

It’s really cool to see a big Nintendo Game Developer start a channel with tips on how to develop games, so I’m really looking forward to watching all of his videos.
