Stardew Valley Update 1.6

We’re getting another update for Stardew Valley! Yes, after 8 years, the game is still receiving updates and new content without the customers being charged for new DLC.

The new update won’t be adding a lot of content, but will be a modding-focused update, which will make it easier for modders to make new content for it. The previous update, 1.5 released late 2020, added a huge amount of content and is available for the platforms: Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and the PC.

The developers at Concerned Ape haven’t gone into much detail about the newest update, but at least they are still updating the game considering it first came out in early 2016. It’s quite understandable, since they are currently working hard on their new game, Haunted Chocolatier, which will be similar to Stardew Valley, but have its own identity. The two games will be linked, but Eric Barone (of Concerned Ape) isn’t sure yet of how deep that connection will be.
